a not-for-profit trails advocacy organization, supported by volunteers that works on trails development and advocacy in the McKinley County area. A link provides trail conditions, maps, and other information about trail workdays and volunteer membership opportunities. GT2010 has brought international recognition to area assets through support of the International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA) and recognition by the NM State Parks winning the "Jessica R.  | Youth Conservation Corps Program
(Gallup-McKinley County): funded by the NM Energy, Minerals, & Natural Resources Department and administered by Connections, Inc. - this program puts 70 area youth to work on trails building and restoration projects,. This summer YCC will be continuing work on the newly designated 26-mile trail system in the McGaffey Area (Hillso Trailhead). |
